Welcome to our first newsletter for Term 4 and what promises to be a fun filled, busy, exciting term. We are full steam ahead with our planning and preparation for 2022. I will have more information to share with you in our next newsletter.
Our busy Term 4 includes Kindy, Pre-Primary and Year 6 Transitions, Wagjiny Aboriginal Incursion, Student Reports, End of Year concert, Surf Sports days for the high school, NCVISSA Summer Sports Carnival amongst a plethora of other events.
School Development Day
On Monday, 8th November staff will be involved in our Term 4 School Development Day. On this day we will be looking at our schools Values, Vision and how these link to our Business Plan. Schools are expected to review how they are going in terms of meeting the targets we set for student learning, the strategies we put in place and how we work to support our students in a learning environment that is safe, supportive and with high expectations.
Returning to School in 2022
If your child will not be attending Kalbarri DHS in 2022, could you please inform the front office or email: Kalbarri.firstname.lastname@example.org
We have begun the process of planning for 2022 this term. If you have any requests in terms of classes for 2022, please forward them to the front office or via email. We cannot guarantee that these requests can be met, but we will take them into consideration.
Year 12 Graduation
It was a pleasure to present at the Year 12 Graduation of Lochy Grenfell and Eli Lawson. The students, staff and parents should be proud as the boys now move off to make their way in the world.
World Teacher’s Day
Friday, 29th October is World Teacher’s Day in Australia. It is a day to recognise and thank our teachers for the amazing work and dedication they have to all our students. I can honestly say that we have some of the most amazing, experienced, dedicated and passionate teachers here at Kalbarri DHS. Please take the time to thank your child/rens teacher on the 29th, they really do a remarkable job.
